Romania is one of the few countries in Europe where, the habitat, it is unaltered by human civilization. Romania is a place where wild animals are living in the same freedom for thousands of years.
When it comes to wild fowl, Danube Delta is a paradise of migratory species. Geese, woodcocks, ducks, quail, and many other migratory birds are found there in vast numbers. Romania has a temperate continental climate and a varied relief, which is laid out concentrically and gradually passes from the high altitude of the Carpathian arch to that of the hills and plateaus down to plains and meadows. The lower level it is Danube River and the Black Sea.
The surface area of Romania's hunting stock is approximately 22.5 million hectares, of which forests have 6.3 million hectares. In this natural paradise characterized, by a remarkable bio-diversity are living, 20 species of mammals and 50 species of birds that are a real interest for hunters. Romania is the place where the wealth of fauna, long tradition of hunting and picturesque nature make each hunting party a memorable event.
